Hurst Realty, Swansboro's oldest
real estate company, was begun by local residents Basil and
Wilda Hurst in 1962. Keeping it as a local family company,
son, Basil J. "Jack" Hurst expanded the company.
It now encompasses Hurst Construction, Hurst Management
and Hurst Realty Company. Having grown with the
community, Hurst continues to provide quality built homes for
